Abdelhadi Al-Hag was born in River Nile State and spent his childhood in Port Sudan, eastern Sudan. He pursued media studies at Khartoum University. Launching his journalism career in 2003, Abdelhadi contributed to several Sudanese newspapers and online platforms, even playing a key role in their establishment. In recognition of his dedicated work, he was awarded the Open Eye Award from the German organisation MiCT in 2015 while collaborating with The Niles project. Abdelhadi's primary interests lie in human rights, political discourse, and investigative journalism.
